Check out my review for: Elsker (Elsker Saga, #1)

NOTE: This is a "New Adult" novel. Due to mature content this title is recommended for ages 17+
Synopsis: Sometimes, finding your destiny means doing the exact opposite of what The Fates have planned.

Winning the heart of an immortal assassin was a dream come true for Kristia Tostenson. Now she’s knee deep in wedding plans, goddess lessons, and stolen kisses. But her decision to become immortal could end in heartbreak -- not only for Kristia, but for the god who loves her. Because while Ull would do anything to protect his bride, even the God of Winter is powerless against the Norse apocalypse. Ragnarok is coming. And the gods aren’t even close to ready.

Review: 4.5 Stars - Endre, the second title in the Elsker Saga by author S.T. Bende was a highly anticipated title that I was begging for the second I finished the first title – Elsker.

I don’t even know where to start this review. I really enjoyed Elsker, yet Endre added so much more as a second title. I thought I loved the first book, well with the exception of not enough Gunnar… sorry, I just missed him a bit in this one, I think that S.T. more than out done herself. The action and twists were bigger, the romance just… sweet, wow and hot on more than a few occasions.

One great thing about this title is that it picks right up where we left Kristie and Ull in Elsker. I was thankful for that because I didn't want to miss anything. There were some huge decisions to be made that we watched happen in Elsker and some of those decisions had some crazy and some serious consequences that I was eager to see unfold. Kristia had the most to gain and the most to lose and so much more weighing on her shoulders. I felt for her and worried for her because her choices were just… more than I’d be able to handle.

Thankfully Kristia is a strong character with strong people behind her and her choices. It’s Ull and his family and Inga who are there for her when it comes to all things Immortals and God’s. Then there are her roommates and best friend from home who are there for her on a human level. Again she’s a pretty amazing lead because she doesn't give up, doesn't back down and goes about things to save those she’s loves.

The romance in this one is defiantly on a different level from the first book. There’s heat and it’s pretty amazing! Ull and Kristia deserve a lot and it was great to get a chance to see some of their dreams come true all while they were worried about the Norse apocalypse around the corner and some creepy unnamed evil creature that’s stalking Kristia’s dreams. Ull might feel a bit more human in this one as well, but he’s still the God of Winter through and though and will do everything in his power to change his part of the prophecy of Ragnarok,

Without a doubt I loved this book. I love these characters, the mythology and the story that S.T. has created. I wanted more after Elsker and I sure did get it and then some in Endre. However at the end I still wanted more so I have hopes we get to see these amazing characters again in another book from S.T. in the future. As mentioned at the end of my review for Eskler I highly recommend this title for fans of “New Adult” who are looking for something more than a contemporary. This series fits the bill perfectly. You won’t be sorry, so go pick up both books today! Enjoy!
